Inner Urge

Searching through the pages on the internet for some example how to start a biography, I chance upon Jeremy Monteiro's Blog... In essence, what struck me the most is how often we assume celebrities are on some higher level of existence and not down-to-earth enough to approach or talk to... Well, that aside, I'm still trying to find the time to actually start on a personal webpage!!! Like an online resume... Anyway, stupid assignments... Got handed another one on Monday... 2000 word essay... I hate writing essays... It's so time consuming... Couldn't sleep on Tuesday so I thought I might as well finish it on Wednesday... Might hand it in tomorrow...

Keeping busy with teaching as well... Speaking of which, it was my 1st time teaching 2 young kids how to play the piano last Saturday... and my 1st time trying ox tail... mmmm.... Ok the 2 don't connect but whatever... I need to plan my time wisely haha... More people want me to teach them, I need to practise, jam, study and do assignments, also practice for church and stuff, play for a few gigs maybe... I need a break!!!

Strangely enough, I headed out to the pratice rooms last night in an attempt to work on my piano playing but got distracted and jammed with 2 of my friends, Leon and Alex... Did that for a while, went into another room to start practising but ended up composing instead... Haven't composed in about 2 years... Long time... Inspiration strikes at the weirdest times...

Anyway, I think I'll try to work on that biography or piece soon... Need to relieve stress!!! hahahaha... I miss playing foozball and captain's ball!!!

Easy Living

Got 3 assignments out of the way... I think there are still 2 essays, one research log and a radio program left to do... 3 things... or might before haha.. I don't know... anyway... I had a piano lesson with Peter Saberton yesterday... He said every 1st year is supposed to do a transcription of an artist's version of a theme of a tune... ok... yea... quite confusing... The thing is I thought he meant... do that AND the solos... So I did like 15 times the amount required!!! LOL... But oh well, might as well finish the whole song... Coulda done something else instead of that though... haha... anyway...

Had to teach this singer as well... Good income =P Might start teaching a few more people... hehe... Then I don't have to go out to work... Just dreading the essays though... Church, Christian Union and all are still great... I'm also learning a bit of Spanish and a bit of Shonar... One of the Zimbabwean languages... I should be concentrating more on music really... Bleah... Anyway... Not much from me... Just can't wait to get back home in Dec...

Stairway To The Stars

BLAH.... SO MUCH TO DO... OVERWHELMING...

Well, not really overwhelming but... you can see where I'm coming from I hope... Easy stuff... but loads... anyway... it was fun spending time back home... now I have more work to do... lol!!! YARRR... My cargo arrived too!!! Didn't realise I had so many things... and I got my Saxophone!!! wheee... Had a Jam yesterday with a few guys...

I've also been asked by about 5 - 7 people if I could teach them... well, see what happens... haha... I'm still trying to work out my rates... 8 pounds for half an hour? hrmmm maybe... could be good income... if it was weekly...

Other than that... I'm thinking of starting a new blog/website.... for a biography.... blah blah blah... anyone got any ideas how to go about doing it? Somewhere where I can post up photos, music, gig events, the works... ya... so.... maybe I'll do that soon... but 1st gotta study... =P

It's becoming like Singapore again... LOL...
